What is Technical Jargon?
I am writing and english essay comparing two newspaper articles and i have asked to comment on the use of technical jargon what does this mean?
It would be using technical expression that perhaps not every reader would know the meaning of without providing an expanation. Fairly often it is usd by authors to make themselves sound clever because the concept they are describing is quite simple but they choose to ue a term that makes it complicated.
For example: I had a glass of dihydrogen monoxide
Translation: I had a glass of water
