I have an interview(8/8/07)for a Trace Evidence Examiner job. What kind of tech ?s should I be able to answer?

I graduated with a BS in chem in 97 and worked in an environmental testing lab for 3 yrs. I have an interview for a Trace Evidence Examiner and would like to know what types of technical questions I should be able to answer. This position will collect, evaluate, examine, and identify physical evidence from crime scenes utilizing acceptable established, standardized forensic methods, procedures and techniques specific to polarized light microscopy/chemical microscopy, microspectrophotometry, FTIR-microscopy using Omnic software, and GC-MS using Varian Workstation software with trace evidence to include forensic examination of hairs, fibers, protective surface coatings (paint & plastics), tapes, glass, soil, fire debris and other assigned duties. This position will document findings and prepare technical written reports of laboratory examinations; provide expert testimony in various courts, and on call crime scene investigation responsibilities

You should probably just be able to show that you know how microscopes, IR spec, and mass spec work. But that would be if feel like spending probably a max of three hours reading about them. On the other hand, anyone who has passed an organic chemistry lab should be able to figure out how to use these instruments, as they are fundamental to chemical structure elucidation.
