what college course do I need to take to be a writer?
Hello, i would like to know what college courses I need to take to become a writer. I understand that you don't necessarily need to go to college to become a writer but, say that you wanted to, what courses should you take? if you wanted to be in a bachelor's program, what program would that be? Please and thank you
What kind of writer? Do you want to write books? Study anything, and improve your craft. English is a safe bet as a major though, but that alone is not going tobopen doors for you. If you want to write for film, I suggest you major or minor in film studies. Technical writers make lots of money, so if you're good at dumbing things down you may want to major or minor in business, information technology, or some other computer engineering program.
