SCIENCE PRAC WRITE UP!!?
I did this experiment using copper wire and silver nitrate. First we coiled the wire, then put it in a test tube and added the silver nitrate, once added the chemical reaction started causing bubbles to form on the copper wire, as the amoun of bubbles increased the silver nitrate in the water started to turn a bluey green, we now need to write a report about it. every1 says that its easy and so far it has been but now im up to the results. i cant find any examples of what i could write and have no idea what to do.
I want it to sound as though i know what im talking about, even though i dont, people have said use technichal terms!! uhhh yer what technical terms.
If any1 could give me a short example of some words to use or anthing that would be great.

What occurs is a single displacement reaction. Copper metal displaces silver ions, forming silver metal and copper(II) ions. The dissolved copper(II) ions have a blue colour due to hydration.
Did the copper take on a black or silver sheen? That is an observation that shows silver being deposited.
The reaction equation is Cu(s) + 2Ag^+(aq) → Cu^2+(aq) + 2Ag(s)
