How do I create (or find available online) medical symbols to use in Microsoft Word?
I'm using Microsoft Word 2007 to write medical reports and would like to use standard medical abbreviations (many of which are symbols).
Word has the function "Insert Symbol" which lets you insert all of the available symbols. If they are used across a variety of fields (like the degrees symbol and all the Greek letters) then they will be in there. If you are looking for very specific symbols that are only used in medicine, you might need to download a special font for that.
