So what exactly is the “working class” today?
I am a software developer, a Linux admin, and I write technical documents. I travel to Asia about every other year for work.
I assume I am a “white collar” worker by the definition I found on “Answers.com”, even though I am not a manager. Yes, I am educated. Yes, I am salaried.
I assume I am not part of the declining “white working class” I keep hearing about?
No you are not part of the white working class.
The title of working class is better described as blue collar workers., as opposed to white collar workers.
Blue collar workers tend to work in factories etc.
So you are classed as a white collar worker.
