Was 9/11 an embarrassing security failure waiting to happen?
The official non partisan 9/11 report tackles several times the dangerous reduction of anti terror programs under C.Rice and G. Bush after they took office in 2000. The carefully written report, a masterpiece of fingerpointing avoidance, never draws conclusions about what would have.
Isn't it time to revisit Bushs first 11/2/ years in office, if just as example of total inabtness?
No, I'd call it an eagerly anticipated security breach that fit the description of the "Pearl Harbor event" that PNAC stated they needed in order to implement their agenda, which included an invasion of Iraq.
