10 tips to writing a lab report.?

What are ten tips on writing a lab report?


1. Title - will be provided
2. Date - put this at the very top of the page so that it can be located quickly
3. Problem - will be provided
4. Variables (3 total) that you should describe:
Manipulated - describe this variable (should only be 'one'!)
Responding - describe this variable (again, hopefully there will be only
'one'!)
Controlled - describe AT LEAST three - there should be 'a lot' of these!
5. There are usually 'two' groups:
Experimental group
Control group
6. Hypothesis
7. Prediction
8. Procedure - we will NOT be writing these up!
9. **Observations
Make sure that you record your observations in some form whether in tables
or sketches that shows both qualitative and quantitative observations
10. Analysis - questions provided
11. **Conclusion!!!!!!!!!!!
Could include:
A summary of results
Inferences
An indication of whether your hypothesis & prediction were correct
Describe possible experimental errors
Offer suggestions for improving the activity
