such as pouring liquid "A" into liquid "B"? how do i put this in past tense but not refering to anyone or myself?

help this is confusing
teacher is fat by the way and has nasty freckles

Use the passive tense in the past.

In the lab, the liquid was poured.....
Rather than say "I" or "we," you say the object and what was done to it.

The flame was lit, the box was opened, the formula was mixed, It looked green, Ten minutes later, the experiment was over.
