Need some help to come up with a good topic for a report?

hey everyone
i have to write a problem solving report for english on a subject that would qualify to be taught in first years uni such as:
Health
Social Sciences
Conservation
Political Science
Animal Care
Law

We just have to pick a topic then come up with a problem we could discuss and provide information about it and strategies to overcome it.
Example:
If i chose conservation the topic could be polar bears and the question could be "How can we ensure the safety of polar bears in the arctic while global warming is worsening"
Or the subject could be health, topic could be obesity and the question could be "How can we lower the incidents of obesity in adolescents in todays society?"

Im having troubles coming up with ideas. I like the subject of Mental Health so maybe some suggestions for that?
