Professional Report Writing

Suggestions for conditions to write a patient case report about?

I have to write a "mock" patient case report for my professional writing class. It only has to be 750 words, and include an Intro, Abstract, Patient Case History, Discussion and Conclusion. I need some suggestions on what medical condition I should write it about because I essentially need to make up all the medical numbers, treatments, family history, etc.

Im thinking some genetic disease but I dont want to do anything too simple, yet nothing complicated enough where I need to create a ton of #s and test results.

Any ideas?

How about Progeria? It's very rare but more "well known" now because of media coverage and shows such as Discovery Health, etc. and there are now many well documented cases.

It is an incurable, genetic disorder that causes rapid aging. Children usually appear normal at birth but by the age of 12 months, begin to show signs of aging such as skin changes, hair loss, loss of healthy vision/hearing and illnesses related to the aging process.

Average life expectancy is 13 years but some have lived to their early 20's. Most will die of heart disease or stroke, typical to the aging process.
