Do the Sun newspaper journalists write in good english?
Are Sun journalists poor quality reporters or poor quality writers? I think they must be good quality writers writing, poor quality reports.
I like your style Keith, even though it is sensational bravado hoping to be seen as controversial, but amusing.
we once studied The Sun and compared it to The Times in our English Language course. and we were told that the sun does not use very long words and when writing an article they use sub headings with exciting words like 'sex' or 'naked' to encourage people who don't read much to continue reading the article. whereas The Times will write very long pieces without any sub headings using intricate and long words. so it depends how you look at it. does it takes a good writer to write poorly for others benefit. or are they poor writers to start with? to get in to journalism you need a degree, so i think it's the former.
