I have to write an essay on why I want to become a nurse. Can any one help? Would love to hear from nurses!?
Not sure what to write and how. I suck at writing reports like that. I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!!!!
Why do you want to become a nurse? Have you any reason, or is this a job you think you might like? Do you have the compassion (and patience) to serve your fellow human beings whom are ill, either mentally or physically? Do you have the resilience to persevere when you are the scapegoat for some doctor who thinks he is God? (not all, but believe me there are A LOT of doctor's like this out there). Can you be subservient to another?
I would suggest to you to do some volunteer work in a hospital setting and then answer the question yourself. No one else can write an essay for you on why you want to do something. Only you can do that so dig deep inside yourself and make a list of all the reasons you want to become a nurse and then format your essay based on your responses.
The Nursing Profession is a hard and sometimes thankless job and one that should not be entered into lightly. It is also rewarding and fulfilling. You will have to study very hard and write a lot of reports before you will actually be a nurse so get used to it now!
