Visit Report Writing Example

MYSTERY SHOPPERS: What Do You Do When You Have To Write A Bad Report ...?

Example: You frequently order from a fast food restaurant, with no problems. The employees are always on top of their game. One day you go in as a shopper and do one of those shops. Problem is ... everything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong!

You have to report it, and the report doesn't allow for you to even mention past visits where the food was super-fresh, and this same staff was super-friendly.

How do you handle it?

Just be objective and tell the truth. It may be that one or two people on that particular shift were having a bad day, or it may be that they were lacking in work quality.

I received the reports of some secret shoppers, and it was nice to see that I was doing well. My customers would regularly complain about another shift and remark that they wish that I or another employee would go to that shift so that they could get better service. So what I am thinking is that the people that worked that shift weren't the same people that were working on your former visits.

And in my experience, the ones that actually do their jobs and are unfortunate enough to work with those who don't do their jobs, would appreciate it if someone else would say something about it. If there are others who can testify to the bad work then perhaps something can be done about it. Have you ever had to work with someone who wouldn't do their job? If you have, then you probably had to take up the slack. No one should have to do the work so someone else could get paid.
