How Do You Write A Report

how do you write a report"how do you write a report"
Please help I need to write a report for health class?

I need to write a report for health class. I can write about anything as long as its health related. I've searched the internet for ideas but I just don't know what to write about. Does anyone have any ideas? If you do have any ideas please tell me where I can find information on the internet.
When I was in 8th grade I wrote about how certain household products are known to cause cancer. It was a little controversal but I got an A+. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Where did you find that?

The first thing I have to tell you is that you write very well. I spent 20 years providing various forms of health care: respiratory therapy, massage therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, and chinese medicinal herbal treatments. I have taught on the college level. I have only recently begun looking through this Answers forum and have answered several questions concerning Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It never fails to surprise me that people still ask the question: "does acupuncture really work?" My explanation starts out: that is like asking if kites really fly. You don't need an aeronautical engineer to explain the principles of lift co-efficients, drag, gravity, etc. to KNOW that kites do indeed fly, even if you personally have never flown one. Obviously people have not been lying to children for 4000 years and leading them down a path towards crushing disappointment. Even Charlie Brown's kite flies for a while. Then I launch into an explanation of the various ways in which we gather and verify knowledge. Scientific experimentation begins with a theory and arranges a controlled experiment to prove or disprove the theory. Experiential knowledge is gained by directly observing the world. Nobody can convince you that something that you have actually seen, did not really happen. The deepest mystery of how the ancients "discovered" the acupuncture points and the system of physiology borders on the paranormal; but the practicalities have been observed over a period of, some say, 5000 years of careful treatments and record-keeping by Chinese Physicians. Sometimes the only answer I could give when a student asked "but WHY is this particular point used for upset stomach?", I would just say, because 100 generations of learned doctors have already used it for such a problem, and the Chinese are a very pragmatic race - if it did not work, they would not have been using it for all this time. Like kites. Then some students would get stuck on "but HOW does it really do that?" My reply would be: do you know how the transmission in your car works?...I mean could you draw a diagram showing how each piece fits together and what everything does? So, even though you don't really know how a transmission works, you do know enough to put it in "D" to go forward, and "R" to go backward. Likewise, although we do not really know HOW acupuncture works, we know enough to press a certain point for stomach upset, another for headache, etc. Hey, I have not held back because I think you are too young, and I imagine you might need to look up certain words in the dictionary; but this was a fascinating area of study for me, and I am certain I helped a great many people with this unusual (in the USA) form of health care. Hope this stimulates you. There is lots of information on this subject on the web.
