i am a JR in high school and I have to write a report on it and can you please give me some websites.

The science they use is primarily physics. It's the laws of physics that govern electricity and it's production and use. There is also a lot of engineering - obviously, given the name of the profession. The engineering part comes into play in the design and construction of devices that put electrical energy to work lighting our houses, powering our air conditioners, cooking our food, powering our industries and facilitating our communications infrastructure. It takes an engineer to design a cell tower for your mobile phone and direct the laborers to build it.
