My HRIS Hope and Goal in my Career - is there a Chance for Me?

I'm an unemployed HRIS Anlayst / Specialist, in the field for the past 9 yrs. But I don't have Congnus Report Writing, SAP and SQL in my present skill set - and that has been asked frequently if I have it, on jobs I have applied for, cause I only have PeopleSoft and ADP-PCPW.

So my question is, Despite This Current Economic Recession, is ther OR WILL THERE BE HOPE FOR in the future in getting those 3 technical items under my belt?

I have gotten all of the HRIS rest requirements, by Chance (on the job training).

ADP-PCPW is a payroll processing program. It's not an HRIS system and it's doubtful that companies that utilize this program would have an HRIS Analyst/Specialist on staff.

There is no way for us to assess your PeopleSoft skills based on the limited information you gave us.

SAP will not be able to learn unless you find a job that utilizes this program and can teach you.
Cognos and SQL are reporting tools and you can probably learn on your own.

FYI - If you present yourself on your resumes and during your interviews, like you do here, that is probably one of the main reasons you are having a difficult time with your job search. You don't present your ideas well, you have misspellings, etc.
