MS in NUS, Singapore - admission query. (Academics vs GRE)?
hello, i'm in my fourth year of BE(ECE) in a VTU college in India. My BE aggregate is 81% though there has been a consistent downward trend since the first semester (89% to 72%). I have done several prize-winning projects and a paper; active in organising technical events. i'm an NTSE scholar.
From what i gather from the NUS website, i think i only need write TOEFL and not GRE. is that correct? What in your opinion are my chances in NUS? and NTU?
Yes, the GRE is mainly for universities in North America. It won't hurt to take the test, however. If you get a good score on the GRE, it can offset the downward trend in your aggregate score. I would suggest taking a practice GRE just to see how you would do.
Univerisities in Singapore are competitive, but it sounds like you are a good scholar. Also, your English is very good, so I'm sure you will get a great TOEFL score.
