I need some help...trying to buy a house...?
Can anyone give me a template or something similar to an acceptable written letter of explanation for all derogatory items listed on credit report?
Just simply explain what the reasons were you were in default. A good thing to do before you buy a house is to make sure that your current credit is paid to a decent amount because most people, especially new home owners don't necessarily know the full effect buying a home can entail. More often than not people pay out a lot more than just the asking price of a home, with the exception of new home developments. In full answer to your question:
