How do I write an article in NYC news papers about Phillips Van Heusen?
I do work for Phillips Van Heusen Bangladesh Office. I want to write/publish an article about the violations happening here in Bangladesh and Hong Kong Office. I want this report to be published in most of the news papers in USA. Can anyone help me in this regard. I need urgent help.
Most newspapers have their own staff to write articles, and the only place where John Q. Public can submit something is in the paper's Opinion section: Letters to the Editor. Outside writers of opinion or viewpoint columns, called Op-Eds, are usually high-level executives, organization leaders, government officials or other major influencers.
My advice to you is, if you don't care about risking your job by coming forward about things happening at your company, then you should identify the right reporter who would normally cover your company's industry and then send them an e-mail about the situation.
If the reporter thinks it warrants looking into, then they may contact you for an interview. Just be warned, they will also contact the PVH corporate office, likely their PR person, who will do whatever they ethically can to protect the company's reputation.
Also, stories like this take time to produce. Lots of research and lots of interviews, so be patient before seeing anything in print. The flipside is that the reporter may not find enough "meat" to think that it's a story and not doing anything with it.
