Does anyone need a good technical writer?
I am an american living in Europe. I have serveral years experience with Software training, documentation and project management. My specialty lies in Remote Access (VPN), but I have managed standalone software development projects as well. I'm looking for a US based company that is flexable about me living abroad and working remotely. I particularly like writing user manuals and tech support documents. I am now using skype, so phone communication is no problem (except for the 6t hour time difference)
This is probably not the best place to look for a job.
How about posting your resume online, perhaps on a site such as http://www.monster.com/geo/siteselection.asp
We both know that a tech writer doesn't have to work onsite to do a good job. However, from my experience, companies usually prefer to have their tech writers right there in the office, available for meetings, etc.
Good luck.
