Writing a Conclusion for a Book Report   by Scott Dinsmore

While writing a conclusion for a book report , you are free to openly express your notions and reflect on what you find having an important effect about the material you read. It is an opportunity for you that allow total lack of restrictions of sharing your straightforward opinion. It provides a prospect for you to exchange a few words with your reader and passing on the impression you concluded.

To start with, you should write your final conclusion with a statement that lets the reader know you are sharing your last thoughts on the book you are discussing in your report. Stress on the things you like or dislike about the book and be plain about the reasons you are making such statements in one to two sentences. You must make use of two sentences to talk about the book's strong points and weak spots. It would be better if you can give some examples from the book to support your statements.

Discuss about the effectiveness of the writer if proper. This is your option to comment on the author's effort and dig deeper into what you think about the book. Tell the readers what is the focal point in the book that caught your attention and express a response regarding what you think the author is trying to achieve.

Let the reader know your version of the larger idea the story communicates if you are writing a book report about a work of fiction. Talk about your impression of why the author wrote the book and how successfully he presents the information. Let the reader know about what you find interesting and offer explanations as to why you are reporting on a work of non-fiction. Seal the report with a verdict that lets the reader know if you recommend the book to other people.
