Need a good guide for Technical Writing.?
I need to give test for technical writing. Do you know any good website which can provide everything about technical writing i.e., their styles, aims, rules, tone etc??
You know nothing about it, yet you are giving a test on it?
Technical writing has no single style, tech writers break rules as needed, and we have no single tone. The only thing my writings have in common is they communicate the required facts to the intended audience ... whoever that might be.
Style: Depends on the audience
Aims: Communicate the facts to the audience.
Rules: Although we usually write grammatically correct text, if grammar gets in the way of communication, grammar loses.
Tone: Depends on the audience.
