A friend of mine is traumatized and embarrassed & her boss is the culprit?

Recently, a very good friend of mine got into an argument with a co-worker over a $5000.00 sale
that was taken from her by this co-worker, in a furniture store. It was my friends long-time customer. This same co-worker pushed her into a shelf unit (a guy), and accused my friend (a woman) of threats and intimidation. When my friend complained to the manager, he shrugged it off and wrote them both up, but here's the clincher. When she saw a copy of the incident, the manager etched a side note, that my friend, who is full-figured, accused her co-worker of "cow tipping" her. She cried in the ladies room after making a copy of that report, what should she do?

talk to a district or regional manager?? just keep going up the chain until she reaches someone who understands the ramifications and deals with the stupid manager.
