I need to write papers for technical math and engineering drawings/milling-lathe shop projects. I am Using Word. Is there free software out there that I can create graphics of formulas for mathematical and engineering drawings? This would include trig;slope formulas; orthographic drawings; pics of tools made using lathe and milling machines. Thanks! knoec87@mail.sunysuffolk.edu or cfknoell@optonline.netcfknoell@optonline.net
Word has an optional package called "Equation Editor" that can handle graphics of formulas.
In a document go to the Insert drop down menu and click of Object. If you do not see "Eqution" then you will have to install this component rom the Word install disk.
You can "Google" for the other images
