what's the format of writing proposal (detail inside)?
It is a group assignment. My lecturer asks us to write a proposal regarding our research before starting our progress report. I've searched over the web on the proposal's format but still very unsure as there are a variety of formats out there. Do I have to follow the format of memo writing or some other else for my proposal writing?

I heard that memo is like an internal letter.
Sometimes people write proposal in letter format if it is not internal.
