Best way to write a report in the style of protagonist and antagonist?

I have to write a report about The Witch of Blackbird Pond and I have to write about the main conflict. I was wondering what was the best way to do this. Like, what I should make sure to write about and what kind of order it should be in. No, I am not asking you to write it for me. I just don't know where to start.

First you need to establish what you believe the main conflict was. Although it might not be right, using things from the story that helps justify your idea will help you at least earn a decent grade. After that, I would work around it and tie in the protagonist and antagonist: what they contributed to the main conflict, their actions, and so forth. I haven't wrote a paper in a little while and I haven't read this piece, so with little background I can really just tell you how I would approach it at first.
