Can anyone??
Describe the skills of a successful technical writer? What are three examples and their importance to the technical writing
process?
The skills of a successful technical writer are up-to-date knowledge of the subject, accuracy and inventiveness.
Up-to-date knowledge is essential in order to keep ahead of your readers. I would imagine readers of technical literature are pretty au fait with the subject they are reading around. You've got to know more than they do.
Accuracy and a meticulous writing style is essential in order that no mistakes occur.
I've put inventiveness by which I mean an ability to make what you are writing interesting. To be able to write in a fresh and entertaining manner even tho' the subject is technical
Please be aware, I am only guessing - I have no experience of technical writing!!!!!
