How do you use blender animation on a normal video?
Im a technical editor in my Friends little you tube comedy and i need to put a animation using blender ( I don't want to buy anything over the internet).
Your question is a little vague. If you just want to cut a pure animation into a video, then as the previous answerer said Blender will export your animation as an AVI, AVIjpeg or MOV file that can be imported into your edit software like any other footage. However if you want to mix your animation and real footage together as a composite there are a few ways to go about it. Blender has an internal video compositor that will enable you to place your blender scene over the top of another video file (this vastly increases render time) or you could render your animation as an avi with a solid blue/green coloured background (world colour) and use a video editor with chroma-key capabilities to mix the two together. Otherwise you will need to use something like Adobe After Effects to mask out the bits you don't need, but this can be a slow and complicated process. Hope this helps, see what I do with blender here; http://www.spiceyoursite.co.uk
