Which major is best for me?
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am stuck between two majors: Journalism and Public Relations. Maryland's journalism school is ranked extremely high but I do not want to be a journalist; I want to do something that is a bit more applied with writing skills (technical writing, public relations, etc.) Should I major in Public Relations because it is more relevant to what I want do, or should I major in Journalism because the program is good?

your undergrad major doesn't dictate what you do with your life. UMD has a fantastic journalism program (one of the best in the country) so take advantage of that opportunity!
