How do I write a police report?
I need to write a police report on any crime commited for an English paper (I was thinking the recent Illinois campus shooting). Is there a specific format I should follow? Can someone help me?
It's supposed to be a creative work of "faction," because we are currently reading the novel, "In Cold Blood."
Write it out chronologicaly, using legal terms like suspect and perpitraitor. Tell EVERY detail, anything that could be used in court should be written down, and be sure to include testimonies from neighbors, witnesses, etc.
