Technical Author

Should I mention that I was responsible for technical help in major publication in my resume?

Though I have not authored any scientific publications, my name has been mentioned in providing technical help to the studies. Should I mention this is my resume or it this too minor? I'm in the process of rewriting my resume and am trying to take a totally different approach. Need help...
