I am doing a technical writing report and I am using some units (psi) pounds per square inch. I understand and can visualize what psi is but how do I relate psi to something someone who wouldn't understand what it is. Just need some ideas of what visual idea I can present in my report that would put a certain number of psi into something equivalent that a person reading it could understand.
An automobile tire has about 30psi of air pressure applying the equivalent of 30 pounds of weight directed perpendicular to each square inch of it`s inside surface area..

I spend most of my 40 hour workweek analyzing data in excel and writing technical reports in word. Through trial and error, I have discovered a few little shortcuts/tricks to make my life easier. My question: what is your favorite secret command? And why? Something that is powerful and time saving and can just make someone say "cool!. I didn't know you could do that!!" Answers will be judged on 1) how esoteric, one that very few people know about, 2) power, (maybe it saves LOTS of time or returns a very useful result) and 3) creativity of answer
(We all know how to reformat text or insert page numbers into a document or type a formula into a cell in a worksheet. I am looking for something more advanced than that. think "vertical lookup" function in excel or "format paintbrush" in word.
SOmething useful I use in Word all the time is the "increase size by one point" keyboard shortcut - control + [ It might sound simple, but it saves me loads of time and lets me quickly and easily get fonts the exact size I want them instead of sticking to the predefined sizes in the drop-down box. Macros are also very useful for any tasks you do often, but its too much for me to explain here.

I had to do an experiment of the sysnthesis of aspirin but now i have to write a basic technical report and i dont know how to do that help please!!!
First, state the purpose of the experiment. Next, describe IN DETAIL how the experiment was performed. Last, list your conclusions. Was the experiment a success? Why or why not? Tell why. (Or why not. It's OK. Not all experiments go as planned. Others may want to replicate your attempts, tell them what to be careful of.) These rules apply to almost any technical report. Remember them. I hope this helps.

Here's the problem I face:
1. Procrastination - I just can't seem to get the groove on and keep typing. I keep getting stuck on what I want to write and I either end up here or on Facebook etc.
2. I have way too much information. I've done a lot of analysis on many different things but I only need to choose one to write on. I actually want to to gather all my analysis and talk about togeather but it just won't go togeather.
Help on any advise or motivational tips
