Technical English Writing Reading And Speaking

how do you type in Japanese kanji form on an english based computer?

i want to know how some people, even ones who use yahoo answers can type a kanji in their answer. as you can see or tell, i have a computer that is english speaking based but i want to know how would i, if i could, type in kanji form as some other people do? Kanji is the technical term for the "symbols" that the japanese write in and read. if anybody knows please help, or if there is something to download for this. thank you

You enable a program on your computer that lets you switch from English to Japanese. To change the writing system (since there are three in Japanese and kanji is only ONE of them and not a name for all three) you just hit space after you write the word you want. There are directions here: http://newton.uor.edu/Departments&Programs/AsianStudiesDept/Language/japanese_write.htm

簡単です。
