Should I put freelance writing on my resume if I am an engineer?
The writing is only semi-technical and I have only done a couple hundred dollars worth.
If writing is a part of your job as an engineer and your freelance work enhances your professional profile you definitely want to mention it. You could go one step further and create an on-line box.net file, blog, or file attachment to a LinkedIn or some other on-line profile where you can post your work on-line. In the other accomplishment's section of your resume, put title technical writer and the URL underneath where a potential employer can view your work.
