Cyber-bullying is a result of this new communication era that has emerged. With today’s technology, and easy access to the internet bullying has become easier then ever; the children and youth of this generation do not even need to have personal confrontation. Cyber- bullying is the new version of school yard bullying, and unfortunately kids of all
ages are taking part. Cyber-bullying can be defined as any communication posted or sent
by another person, using instant messenger, email, online profiles, and other technical
devices. The messages are usually intended to frighten, embarrass, harass or otherwise
target another person. Cyber-bullying is a relatively new and pervasive form of bullying
that is rapidly affecting today’s youth.
