How long should I work at my new job before putting a new resume out there?
I recently got a new job as release of information specialist in which I make sure requests for medical records comply with HIPAA guidelines. But I know this is not my final career. I have an extensive science background and would ultimately become a medical/technical writer. I know this job will give me allow me to gain valuable experience and good skills that will help me along. But how long should I work at this job before putting my resume out there again?
Actually there is no such time limit to leave the current job.which you have . .
I personally suggest you to don't switch between the companies till you are not satisfied with your current job to put in your resume . . .
have look on some sample resumes
