Tips for writing in APA style?

For my physics project report, we're required to write it in APA style. It's my first time writing a report in this format, but our teacher did give us a brief guide and I'm pretty sure she's not going to be to harsh with marking it (at least for the format).
I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for writing in APA style? Thanks.

It gives you a lot of of things. Here's a link to a sample APA paper with literature review. You didn't state if you had to do a literature review or not, but I hope that this helps.
